The Institute for Medical Education (IML) of the University of Bern combines experience and competence in teaching, assessment and development under one roof.

The Department for Education and Media (AUM) produces learning media for self-study together with lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine. We collaborate with other faculties, universities and external partners to produce interactive, web-based learning programmes, videos, animations and graphics. In addition, we create learning media on behalf of third parties and have a video studio, a sound studio and a professional video team.
